Designing a curriculum for Quranic sciences requires a shift from linguistic grammar to Tajweed (phonetic precision) and Hifdh (memorization) methodology. These three texts—Tuhfatul Atfal, Al-Jazariyyah, and As-Sakhawiyyah—represent the gold standard for mastering the recitation of the Quran. At 4 hours per week, this curriculum moves from basic rules to the most intricate details of classical vocalization.
Prerequisites & pacing

Identifying why two letters from the same exit point sound different based on their attributes.

Mastering the "Heavy" and "Light" letters, specifically the rules for the letter Ra and the Lam in the Name of Allah.

Identifying Lahn Jali (Obvious mistakes that change meaning) vs. Lahn Khafi (Hidden mistakes in beauty/melody).
Module 8: Letter-Specific Nuance

Specialized focus on the most difficult letters in the Arabic language and their correct elongation (Istitalah).
